Comets head to state
Naselle Comet track and field athletes Tylor Nortrup and Kyle Burkhalter qualified for the state meet with their marks at last Saturday's district meet. The 1600m girls relay team of Jodi Christie, Haleigh See, Nicole Tarabochia and Nicole Laney also qualified by placing fifth.
Nortrup was second in the pole vault, and Burkhalter was third in the high jump and fourth in the triple jump.
