Dollars for Scholars
offers second round
Wahkiakum Dollars for Scholars are encouraging people interested in furthering their education goals to apply for this year's installment of Wahkiakum Dollars for Scholars Non-Traditional Scholarships.
These scholarships are available to past graduates of Wahkiakum High School and current residents of Wahkiakum County.
Applications can be picked up at either Hanigan Law Office at 68 Main Street or at the PUD building at 45 River Street in Cathlamet.
Applications are due August 4 and can be sent to Dollars for Scholars (Non-Traditional), P.O. Box 498, Cathlamet, WA 98612.
Interviews are scheduled for the evening of August 7. Applicants will be contacted by phone to set up an interview time. For addition information contact Kristin Sykes-David at 795-8003.
